About

me in a stool

Hello there! My name is Arthur Lee, but most people know me as that insufferable scamp, Mr. Podunkian (also known to some as Arthur ‘Mr. Podunkian’ Lee). I’ve been making video games since I was five.

I’m a graduate of the University of California, San Diego, with a BA in Interdisciplinary Computing in the Arts and Media, which is just a fancy way of saying I do computer-based art.

Video games have always been a passion of mine, starting with when I got my first hand-me-down Nintendo at age five. After reading a description of Clickteam’s Klik’n’Play (which of course, promised the ability to create video games in “minutes!”) on our school’s weekly book order, I begged my parents to get me a copy, and thus began my foray into independent video game design. Using Klik’n’Play, and all of its subsequent off-shoots (The Games Factory, Click and Create, and Multimedia Fusion), I’ve been able to self-teach myself all facets of game design, including art, music, coding, and level design.
