Sorry about the delays — I’ve been working non-stop of the game today (to a ruinous effect on my Christmas Day… fff). All of the game content is now finished — I just need some time to build the frontend, and to test the game a few times (it’s an hour or two long). With that said I will release Merry Gear Solid 2 at 12 pm PST on December 26th. That’s this coming noon!

Thanks for all the support on the comments threads, and through Twitter — it’s helped encourage me to keep on keeping on!

Go take a well deserved sleep, you deserve it. Today was fun, like waiting for a RS update >.< (Another game that envelopes nearly all my free time)

finished a minimalist run of my game (where you only have two items in your inventory by the end). it took me 45 minutes, skipping all the codecs. this game will be pretty long i think!

Please Arthur be sure to check that border color is set to black in game properties!

This is assuming you’re using mmf and that you’re using lo-res fullscreen (even if you dont you should always set it to black).
I just replayed MGS1 and there its set to default white and it looks horrible because for some reason my new graphics card cant handle resolutions lower then 640 so it wont go true fullscreen but ends up as a box with white borders.
Anyway looking forward to the game!
Merry christmas & happy new year!
