Don’t rush the Underside, you don’t have to release it that soon if it’s going to look unfinished and unpolished. What I /do/ want is for you to release 8bitar Hero. /Then/ you can start work on this new spangly project.
I can understand taking a break from development hell w/ the Underside, though.

It’s not about rushing The Underside. It’s more of working on it in the first place.
While I do appreciate the great work Arthur has put out, it does get discouraging to see constant side-tracking after implying that The Underside would get more attention at the beginning of the year.

Look I think the only reason most of us visit here is because we want news on TU, he’s already released it before it’s ready, it’s called an alpha build, and many of us appreciate even that. We obviously just want a bit of news on TU every now and then, it’s a fantastic game and for him to abandon it would be stupid (basically just throwing a great game away, stupid, even if he’s lost interest in it).
Nobody here thinks that the only thing he should work on is TU, but it’s seemingly been pushed under the rug way too often, he’s made 6 or more games since the last august (only one of which I found to be a decent game -merry gear solid 2)… so yeah I think most peoples comments are justified.

Some people should really get their asses in order.
Arthur pre-released an awesome game free of charge and is moving on with other things before going back to TU. If I was Arthur and had dicks like these bum-rushing me on my own project as if they were entitled to it, I would cancel it or put a fucking price tag on it.
