Glen Forrester and I (the dynamic duo behind the wildly successful Enough Plumbers) have started a new company called mak gam, which we’ll be releasing our Flash games (as well as anything else we think up). You’ll notice a new game is available on that site: a Flash based version of STREEMERZ, which features (besides being cross platform) all NEW game play modes! So check it out, and if you’ve got an account on Kongregate, where the game is currently being hosted, be sure to give it some “big ups” as they say.
(P.S. this is not the aforementioned NEW PROJECT … a trailer for THAT should be coming PRETTY SOON…)

Just keep doing what your doing podunkian even if you have a partner do the games that you want to do

I’ve decided to stop Arthur making the games he wants to do. The Underside is cancelled, by the way.

I hope those 2 or 3 bullshit moments in Dr. Terry mode were intentionally unfair. at least in vvvvvv the whole thing was frustrating instead of just small parts.
July 23rd, 2010 at 12:23 pm
haha, the only part i can remember making intentionally unfair is the multiple-screen-wide fall that you have to repeat if you don’t move yourself to the side of the screen, but i always thought it would be understood that it was meant as a funny joke.

Cool I guess, but what’s up with the flash version of Streemerz having screwed up sound?
July 23rd, 2010 at 1:57 pm
that’s a problem with flash.

The unlockable cheat doesn’t seem to work. I got all the money in story mode and vvvvvv mode, and it didn’t unlock. Thought you’d like to know.
Also, it’s a fun game, but I thought it was pretty harsh towards poor Terry…
July 23rd, 2010 at 8:25 pm
the unlock cheat is to (at the menu screen) hold LEFT and then press X (or was it C)…

Beat it, gargaaaah, that was awesome (way more cooler than “Cool, I guess”).
Nice work.

Also, nice work on your new company/studio thing.
Now you can not finish and delay more things (like all Indie developers), but with someone else!
Seriously though, that’s pretty nifty, and you’re a cool guy.

Authur, you mak gam gud.
I don’t know why I had waited so long to play either of those.
July 24th, 2010 at 1:53 pm
GODDAMN IT! I hate you podunkian.

impossible, the rest of the game game- fine, I swear around 300 of those deaths are from that screen, I once accidentally fell down but I was holding right and ran straight into the balls of death… accidentally. I hate you.

Why does the Cheetahmen music you used in the original STREEMERZ sound much different now?
August 2nd, 2010 at 6:40 am
@B — to avoid any copyright issues. i know that the fellas behind A52 are long gone, but i wanted to (at the time) convince my potential sponsors that there was no risk at all.
August 4th, 2010 at 12:29 am
If it was due to copyright issues, then shouldn’t the main STREEMERZ music be different also? It is essentially a remix of the original STREEMERZ.
August 4th, 2010 at 2:51 am
all of the versions of the STREEMERZ music that appear ingame were arranged and modified from the original STREEMERZ song, but it was more a precautionary thing than anything. considering the fact that the original A52 cart contained tons of stolen music itself (and considering, you know, that it’s action 52) i don’t think i have anything to worry about.

Superb Joe mode is pretty hard, but fun. Managed to get a 1:18:82 time recorded. Lost 7 seconds from a death, and could save a few seconds taking riskier routes in the second and third screens, but I couldn’t manage to beat that time in any of my attempts.
